Hydram Sheet Metalwork now provides the benefits of CNC punching and CNC laser cutting in one operation using the new Trumpf TC6000L Punch Laser Combination machine! With over 25 years experience in punching sheet metal and 10 years in laser cutting, Hydram will be making the most of the Trumpf combination machine to exploit the benefits of both technologies at once.

Customers benefit in terms of the increased variety and complexity of jobs that Hydram can undertake with maximum economy. While punching lends itself to producing regular shapes very efficiently and allows for some forming operations, the laser removes the need for special tools and allows more complex shapes to be cut.

With a 3000 x 1600mm sheet capacity, the TruMatic 6000 machine is capable of processing up to 8mm thick mild steel. The punching head can produce a maximum of 900 strokes per minute in thinner materials and the laser head is powered by a 3.2kW resonator. Automation options include part chutes (for parts smaller than 500 x 500mm), part picking and placing, sheet loading and scrap removal.
