| Stephen joined Hydram in December 2004 as Assistant Production Manager and was promoted to Production Manager 18 months later. With 20 years’ experience in manufacturing with Nissan and Thyssen Krupp Tallent, Stephen has brought new ideas to Hydram, championed training and continuous improvement, and successfully increased productivity throughout the factory. He has recently completed a Masters Degree at Durham University Business School. |

Joanne began work as a toolmaker/fitter, gaining hands-on experience manufacturing specialist machines for the automotive industry and fitting them into companies including Nissan and Unipress. Joanne gained a degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering B.Eng(Hons)and moved on to become a part-time lecturer in engineering to ONC and HNC students at Darlington College. Joanne joined Hydram in 2004 as Project Engineer. |

| Neil joined Hydram from a youth training scheme in 1994, working in the folding section. In 2002 Neil moved into the laser section and gained an HNC in Manufacturing Engineering. Neil was subsequently promoted to Paint Plant supervisor and was recruited as one of Hydram’s Improvement Engineers, implementing and overseeing Hydram’s continuous improvement projects. In November 2008 Neil was seconded to the role of Production Scheduler. |

Martin joined Hydram in June 2008 as an apprentice in the toolroom. Martin was selected from the applicants in his class at New College Durham, studying Performing Engineering Operations in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Installation. After a year in the toolroom Martin has moved on to become an apprentice quality technician, working in Hydram's inspection room carrying out Initial Sample Reports and other quality checks. One day a week Martin attends college to study for a National Certificate in Manufacturing. |
