Tube Laser Cutting and Bending

Hydram Sheet Metalwork's new tube laser cutting machine was commissioned in Summer 2006.  Machining operations that would previously have involved several consecutive, traditional machining processes such as sawing, deburring, drilling, punching, milling and notching can now be completed in a single, fully automatic operation on the Adige LT712D laser tube cutting system.

Virtually any shape can be machined onto the end of a tube or along its length.  This technology revolutionises the design, manufacture and assembly of tubular products and perfectly complements Hydram's existing tube bending facility.

Tube bending

The tube bending machine is capable of combinations of variable and/or conventional radii bending and complex pieces can be programmed using the inegrated computer system.   Together with the robotic welding facilities, Hydram Sheet Metalwork has consolidated its position as a leading subcontract fabricator in the North East of England.  See the Services section for more detailed information.
