New welder hits the spot! Hydram's new Amada spot welder is now up and running. Managing Director John Young says, "Due to its radically different construction, it should make the holding and jigging of parts much easier and hopefully lead to better quality parts produced more efficiently." Initial training on the machine has already begun for some members of the welding team. Welding supervisor Dave Brentley feels that " this new machine represents a significant advance in spotwelding technology, offering us a real benefit in terms of speed and versatility." Dave and the welding section are looking forward to developing the machine's use to it's full potential.
