Harry Young, Hydram 1978

  • 1977 – Hydram commenced trading
  • 1983 – 5,250 sq ft purpose built factory
  • 1987 – 5,250 sq ft extension
  • 1994 – 8,000 sq ft extension
  • 1996 – Attained ISO 9002 accreditation
  • 1997 – First laser cutting machine acquired, further 8,000 sq ft added
  • 2000 – Attained Investors in People accreditation
  • 2001 – Addition of powder paint plant and completion of 26,000 sq ft extension
  • 2004 – First robot welding cell acquired
  • 2005 – 12,000 sq ft extension and 120-space carpark added
  • 2006 – Tube laser cutting machine acquired
  • 2007 – Combination punch-laser machine acquired

Hydram now occupies a 62,000 sq ft factory in the North of the UK, which is conveniently located close to junction 60 of the A1 in County Durham.
